NBA players give props on Twitter after Klay Thompson goes off over Bulls
Golden State Warriors All-Star Klay Thompson had his fellow NBA players buzzing with his record-breaking
performance Monday night. Thompson broke the single-game record for 3-pointers, finishing with 14, one more
than the previous record set by Warriors teammate Stephen Curry.
While Thompson’s father, Mychal, was busy in his broadcast role with the Lakers, Thompson got props from another
member of the Warriors’ family: Draymond Green’s mother.
Thompson, who came into the diversion shooting only 13.9 percent from past the bend this season, is no more abnormal to warming up in quick mold. He set NBA records with 37 points and nine 3-pointers in a quarter in 2015, made a NBA playoff record 11 3-pointers in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals in 2016, and pursued that up by scoring 60 points in only 29 minutes after the fact the following season.
