‘I don’t need that sh-t’- Duterte on ‘oral sex punishment’ at PNPA
President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday said he will order the dismissal of the Philippine National Academy (PNPA)
cadets who allegedly imposed “oral sex punishment” on their underclassmen.
Duterte condemned the incident, which he said robbed the cadets of their “dignity” and “dehumanized” them.
“You do not train a soldier or a policeman who goes out of the academy with a trauma,” he said at a joint situation briefing
on Typhoon Rosita in Cauayan, Isabela. “It’s a deep psychological insult that stays in the head. ”
Besides, whatever decision pagkadating ‘yan sa akin, it is actually dismissal. I don’t need that kind of sh-t. Ayaw ko ‘yung mga sundalo ko pati pulis ko na dehumanized,” he said.
He recalled undergoing fraternity hazing himself and ordered to kiss another man said he had refused and even asked to killed instead and got 300 more hits (palo) and ended up hospitalized, he claimed.
Meanwhile, the PNPA incident involved one third year PNPA cadet allegedly forcing two underclassmen to perform oral sex on each other as punishment for several supposed violations.
Two other upperclassmen allegedly watched but did nothing. All three will face criminal and administrative charges.
The PNPA’s director, Chief Superintendent Joseph Adnol, has ordered relieved for command responsibility following the controversial incident.
Finally, Duterte warned aspiring soldiers and policemen not to engage in such activities. “Do not ever do that kasi mag-aaway lang tayo,” he said.
