President Duterte encourages the mass homicide of Filipino agriculturists KMP

state forces to arrest and shoot farmers’ groups who will stage their occupy activities on government
and private lands. His statement, followed the massacre of 9 sugar farmers who were staging an occupy
activity in Hacienda Nene of Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

like what happened in Bacolod, I will order your arrest.” Duterte said in his speech at the birthday party of former Foreign Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano.

land occupation and cultivation activities of idle agricultural lands are collective efforts of farmers to produce food crops and assert genuine land reform.
On the other hand, Ramos added that farmers would die hungry if they would wait for a land reform from the government.
“Only a mad leader like Duterte would give direct orders to kill his citizens and constituents,” Ramos added.
“As though Oplan Kapayapaan and militarization isn’t yet enough in threatening ranchers in laborer networks
and farmlands, Duterte for all intents and purposes issued a shoot to slaughter arrange against agriculturists developing the land,” Ramos said.
Inert horticultural terrains
“We will keep on considering him responsible for laborer killings and human rights infringement in-country networks”.
Further, KMP said the land occupation and development exercises of inert horticultural terrains are aggregate
endeavors of agriculturists to create sustenance edits and declare authentic land change.
Besides, Ramos said that agriculturists would bite the dust hungry on the off chance that they would sit tight for a land change from the legislature.
As per the gathering, in excess of 10,000 instances of Certification of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) abrogations are pending at the DAR.
“Ranchers got old and wiped out following up their property cases at DAR yet they never got the chance to
claim the land that they have been working for a considerable length of time,” Ramos said.
Hence, agriculturists requested for certified land change and free land dispersion and held numerous discoursed
with DAR and Duterte himself yet the legislature turned these around favoring landowners and oligarchs. Ranchers
willingly volunteered acknowledge certified land change through aggregate land development,” Ramos said
The gathering has recorded 172 ranchers murdered under Duterte organization.
