Hindi madaling mamatay si Duterte — Trillanes
Opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Tuesday dismissed reports that President Rodrigo Duterte
was in a coma, saying “bad weeds won’t easily die.”
He made the remark in an ambush interview after the mass held to commemorate the 35th death
anniversary of former senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. at the Manila Memorial Park in Sucat, Parañaque City.
Reports claimed that Duterte fell ill last Saturday night when he attended the national convention of
his fraternity, Lex Talionis Fraternitas in Davao City.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go both denied this.
On Monday night, Go even posted on Facebook a live stream of the President eating with a lady to demonstrate that he was well.
Trillanes in the meantime marked as another “show” Duterte’s prior articulations that he’s as of now
worn out and he would advance down if previous Senator Bongbong Marcos prevails upon his appointive challenge against Vice President Leni Robredo.
Hence, “Individuals ought not fall for that. Sakin, kung mamamatay siya at that point, edi umattend na lang tayo ng burol, ganun lang, huwag ‘yung hihintayin natin kung kailan sya mamamatay o it won’t come,” he said.
