Duterte to go to an opening of federalism — Con-com
President Rodrigo Duterte will personally attend the opening of the information campaign
on federalism, the Consultative Committee to Review the 1987 Constitution (Con-com) said on Sunday.
In an emailed statement, the Con-com said Duterte expressed his intent to join the information drive
on federalism, which his administration seeks to adopt as a form of government in the country.
“The President has expressed himself that he will be personally present at the opening salvo of the
information drive,” Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea quote as saying in the statement.
Draft government Constitution
Medialdea is over the Con-com, which entrust to make a draft government Constitution. The draft’s last official duplicate was discharged in July.
“We educated him about the data drive which we will do once our errand here finishes,” said Medialdea.
