Senator Richard Gordon dismissed Senator Risa Hontiveros criticism of his handling of the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing about the ‘Dengvaxia’ Dengue Vaccines.
“I can understand where people would say we were leading the charge, but I don’t think we can say that we didn’t give anybody a chance,” Mr. Gordon said.
Gordon said Senators were not allowed to participate in the said hearing.
At that time Gordon was still in Bogo City to donate 100 houses from the Red Cross to the survivors of the Bagyong Yolanda 2013.
“Their questions have to be on point we have to pursue it, otherwise we would never be finished with the investigation.”
Gordon urges Riza that every time she asks the question is still the same.
“I don’t want to fight with her… you know, she’s a distraction,” he said.
On the other hand, Gordon points out to the participation in the hearing of Ferdinand Topacio a lawyer of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) who said that the previous administration must be the charge.
