Yolanda Housing Project will not be abandoned by the government

In lieu with the fourth anniversary of commemorating the resilience of the Filipino spirit in times of tragedy and adversity – when Super Typhoon Yolanda made the biggest landfall, Malacañang rest assured the public that the Duterte government is committed to continue the housing project for displaced typhoon victims in the province of Leyte.

Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said that the shelter assistance in Tacloban City was the most successful model of permanent Yolanda housing project where there are 10,703 housing units already occupied from the total of 14, 433 units.

Roque said as we commemorate the anniversary of biggest tragedy, everybody should not forget the lesson Yolanda had left. He said that this is a story of bravery and kindness.

Malacañang persuaded the public to unite and show solidarity and bravery.
