The animated hit back in 1994 will make a big comeback with Beyonce on the lead role as Nala’s voice. She’s the love interest of Simba, the main character who will be voiced by Donald Glover.
‘Variety’ already reported that Beyonce was the first choice of movie director Jon Favreau.
Included in the cast are James Earl Jones who will play as Mufasa, British comedian and talk show host John Oliver as Zazu the toucan, while comedians Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen will play the funny duo of Timon and Pumba.
All the cast will be voicing photo-realistic computer-generated animals.
