Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez is in Bolivia to be the first Filipina and Asian to represent in the annual search for Reina Hispanoamericana, a beauty pageant exclusively for Latin America before, but now opening its gates to countries with Spanish history like Canada, Australia, United States and the Philippines.
There is no doubt that “La Reina De Asia” is enjoying her time in Bolivia. She was among the early birds who arrived and received pampering from one of the sponsors. The beauty queen this week appeared also with her fellow candidates on a TV show in Bolivia El Mañanero showcasing their talent.
She performed a Maranao-inspired dance on live TV, displaying her elegance in dancing and later changed outfit onscreen revealing a more sexier dress and a very sultry dance number.
Winwyn is the daughter of actor-politician Joey Marquez and actress-politician Alma Moreno. She joined Miss World Philippines this year and was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana-Filipinas 2017 to be the first representative of the country to this prestigious beauty pageant.
Reina Hispanoamericana is an annual beauty contest celebrating the rich Hispanic heritage, language and culture, started in 1991 as Reina Sudamericana (South American Queen), is based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
The coronation night will be held on November 4.
